“The Yellow-tailed Cribo (Drymarchon corais), a large colubrid that lives in the Amazon. Their colors and size can be impressive, but these are outweighed by their eating habits. Many creatures such as frogs, lizards, rodents and other snakes are part of the menu of this great predator. Not even the most venomous are safe. These snakes, which can exceed 3 meters in length, have been seen eating Fer de lances (Bothrops atrox) and even the queen of the Amazon… the Bushmaster (Lachesis muta).” – Andres Novales
