The 2021 Toast to Tortoises Fine Wine Auction is now open for bids! The online auction will be open December 2 – 12, 2021 and can be accessed at www.32auctions/2021Toast.
The funds generated from the Toast to Tortoises Fine Wine Auction will go to further The Orianne Society’s research, conservation, and education efforts to conserve reptiles, amphibians, and critical ecosystems.
Dr. Robert Beard, an avid conservationist and Orianne board member, has been generous in sharing his wine cellar with us again this year. Dr. Beard has provided some very exciting vintages, including a lovely 1983 Chateau Duhart-Milon, a 1986 Diamond Creek “Gravelly Meadow” and a fantastic 1986 Chateau Margaux, to name a few. There are some wines up for bid that you certainly do not want to miss!
We are immensely thankful for your support and the support of our board members, organization members, and friends of our organization who were so generous in making this auction come to fruition. So place your bids and raise a glass of fine wine to the Gopher Tortoise this holiday season while supporting conservation!
**Winning bidders for the Toast to Tortoises Wine Auction must be willing to make arrangements to meet within the State of Georgia to collect their wine as we cannot ship wine out of state.
